Libby is not only hilarious...she's watching herself in the first video.
She's pretty much in the running for a Nobel Prize. In the second one she is signing! Judge if you want to and say that all babies clasp their hands together, but to me she was signing "more," a little trick we've been working on for weeks now!

This I'm Sure Of
I've been doing some thinking,
praying,
soul seeking,
then thinking some more.
Let's see, how do I start this?
I was driving to Maryland a few months ago, and this song on the radio said, "Give me your eyes for just one second"
Okay, so I prayed for that.
I am insanely happy, have been for the last 4 years and even more so since Sweet September, but what I've been thinking is that's not enough.
You see, I feel like God has been speaking directly to my heart lately, and what He's telling me is that it's not enough for me to live here comfortable in Happily Ever After and just be here and do nothing else.
It's not enough for me to be just be HAPPY and CONTENT being Libby's mom, I have to be more, so that one day she is more.
So I have been asking God everyday show me what you see, show me your people, and here is what I have learned,
He loves us all.
I love the repeated line in the book "The Shack" whenever God talks about any of his children He says "I'm particularly fond of them." Whatever your feelings are on this highly controversial book, you can't deny that He is fond of us all, me, Kev, Libby, you, orphans, homeless, heartbroken, criminals...all of us.
So what's been happening?
I've been crying a lot (HA)
When I read, hear, learn about his children who are hurting, or lost I cry and my heart longs for them to know that their Father loves them so.
What am I doing about it...hopefully more than I have ever done before, because it's not enough for me to just sick back, when there are so many who don't know how much He loves them.
This I'm sure of.

A Bounty Of Posting...and Perhaps Veg?
The long and short of it is, the Farmer's Market is back open after the long, hard, winter.
We went, got inspired, met a nice garden lady, and have made our own vegetable garden
...more on that later.
About the bounty pf posting and pictures, while Kev was out getting dirt and manure for the newest project in our lives, I was inside designing a web page (for the mischief I spoke of here ..,more on that later too) and got distracted by my Little...sometimes I forget about everything else except how much I want to capture every new thing that she does, every sweet thing, every moment that makes me melt...
I'm working on that too...it's just that I love her!

So there they are, more pictures of the Little in excess, but please scroll down to see how to play fetch with a sheep dog and to see that she and Gus are still friends after "the fall."

*on side note, if you come back with out the stick you don't get a treat
Step 6: Find stick
Step 7: Bring it back to crazy lady with the camera

Step 9: Sit, stay, smile, and eat treat

When Your An Artist
Confession, when you're an artist you have an automatic excuse in life for the absent minded things you do...like leaving all the cabinet doors open and leaving the kitchen, or leaving the car running while you return to the house and go about the business of your day, or being sometimes hours late for social engagements, not b/c you were running late but b/c you were sure the invitations said another time. These are just a few blunders that I have committed.
So you can understand why yesterday while I took pictures like this
and this
oh and this
that somehow between these last 2 I decided to unbuckle Libby from her stroller and I tie my giant dog to it...

Note to self :
Do not tie giant pooch to baby stroller, while baby is in stroller, because dog will pull stroller over and baby will roll out into flowers that delinquent mother/artist is taking photos of.
P.S. She was fine...didn't even cry. Thankfully, that should put back in the runnings for mother of the year.
