Putting up Christmas decorations in a house with toddlers is pretty much like saying "here bull, run freely around this china shop." For the record this is the second time I have mentioned a bull in a china shop since December started. Basically our tree has so much stuff stacked up in front of it to deter the girls from getting to it, that you can't even see the bottom. Really, it's a good thing that you can't see the bottom of the tree b/c somehow all the ornaments at the bottom keep ending up on the floor.
As if the shinny ornaments and twinkly lights weren't enough to lour them to the tree, the barricade in front of it now adds a whole new dimension of desire. Their soul mission in the morning is to find a way, or a reason to get to that tree....
I caught them red hand today...Please take note of the difference in my girls personalities Libby determined not to make eye contact with me and Maggie shamefully hiding her face b/c she knows that she is in trouble.
Well, it's late and I need to hang all the ornaments back on the lower quarter of the Christmas tree so the kids can do their best in knocking them off again tomorrow.
Jingle all the way.
Hey.
xoxo
