Actually, there were no sparklers. The thought crossed my mind for a split second and then I remembered that yard a full of pre-school aged children was probably the worst place ever to have sparklers. We did have watermelon, flag cake, and much to the dismay of my husband, corn on the cob! I love 4th of July cookouts...it feels like a requirement of summer. Other requirements include, but are not limited to watermelon, corn on the cob, and playing sprinklers. Perfect, we're done with summer requirements until next year.
