December 8

There were some really great things about today.
I swear.
My good friend Beth kept Libby for the majority of the day so that I could get a pedicure and go to my midwife appointment.  She also shared the pictures she took of me and my loves, which turned out absolutely beautiful.  She was focusing on my roundness, so that I can remember my time with Mags in my belly.   If you're nice to me I might share some of them here.  You should check her stuff out here, she is a great photographer!  She also fixed us dinner and gave me hot chocolate, which you know, kinda of helps when things aren't going right.
What didn't go right?
You might ask.
I locked myself out of the house and the spare key is in Kansas City, Missouri and the only way back in the house was through  a second story window.  I think the frustration I felt was more over the key that is several states away and not at the one that was locked behind my front door....and maybe, just maybe, the frustration is more that the one who holds the spare key is still several states away.  That, right there, might be the truth.
Thankfully, I have good friends who helped me in my crisis. The stress of it all has landed me here though, a little bit like this Little, who on this day several weeks ago found herself crying for no apparent reason in the middle of  an apple orchard.

However, after a good cry, she managed to pick herself up and stroll back up the hill with her mama, leaving those tears behind, back in that orchard. I have found that sometimes a good cry, the kind where you just let go, and really cry, sort of helps.  For her mama, after a good cry, I realize once I've completely lost myself to the tears, that the only thing left to do is just  stroll away from that place, leave those tears behind, and  move onto the next thing.
The Little and I are safe in our house now. She's sleeping  and I've left my tears where they need to be.

Here's to good healthy tears, even if they are coming from an admittedly, crazy, pregnant woman.. .I'm surprisingly calmed down and ready to fold the laundry.

Grace and peace

I want to give thanks for your good friends - those that managed to gain entry to your home and Beth for having Libby. Having a pedicure was probably just what the doctor ordered because it is so relaxing.

I checked out some of Beths photos and they are brilliant - I espaecially loved the one of a little pair of feet lying between two big pairs of feet - can't wait to see the ones she took of you all.

I got so sad seeing my little gals tears stuck in a picture, I had to go down to the ones of her jumping on the bed to cheer myself up. I'm glad that you got a pedicure and I PRAY that you share some of the pictures Beth took of you guys. Love you.
