In A Blink

Our main computer is broken.
That is where I store, edit, and post pictures.
So this post will not contain pictures that are new. Sorry about that. However, this laptop has some interesting old pictures stored on it so maybe I can give you some eye candy!
Here is what has been happening lately.
I have sold a lot of beads.
I have painted some furniture, but have not sold any.
I had a play group at my house, it was fun.
I jazzed up a little patriotic outfit for my Liberty.
She makes me laugh every day, so does her Dad.
I love him.
I married him 4 years ago on June 10th.
Somehow that date past with out me posting about it.
Seems like this week just flew by, and somehow I missed it.
Seems like, after being a bit of a lazy blogger, I could have made this post a little more compelling.
Hmmm, next week's goal, lots more interesting posts, with loads of new pictures of the Little.
For your viewing pleasure a hodge-podege of pictures that have been forgotten about on this here laptop.

I don't know what was happening here, but I wouls say that it definitely no good!

This is a picture of a picture of Laura and I
Here's the mister and I at one of favorite Florida treats

Here are some surf boards from Kev's trip to Mexico
and here is sleeping beauty, several months ago..obviously she is wearing here Christmas tu-tu

I have been limiting my time on the computer b/c I was letting it take time away from my family. Sorry family. :(
However, I did want to mention that I took the Little to the water park again and this time she smiled and I got a nice tan.

Blueberries...Summer Candy

I don't know how many people read my blog, but if you have been with me since the beginning you will remember this entry, when my sweetheart contaminated my blueberries with potato salad. Also, this entry last summer, while great with child, I loved all things blueberries and wrote the following:
" Blueberries: Blueberry Kashi cereal, blueberries in my cereal, Kari's blueberry cookies, blueberry pie and especially blueberry peach tea from Teavanna. Three times now have a driven out of my way to go to Coconut Point to buy one glass of this tea at $3.something a glass. I don't care, I'm leaving this place and I have to get it while I can!"

My point is that it seems like every summer I write something about how I love blueberries. This post is less about me loving blueberries and more about how the Little is just like me. She may not look like me one bit, but she love blueberries, just like me. (Woohoo, proof that she is mine, besides that fact that I know where she came from!) She has them every morning with her breakfast and sometimes in between. Now that my friends is a character trait to be proud of.
Now understand that I really don't like pictures of babies with food smeared all over their face, and I vowed that I would never be that mom, who took these types of pictures. However, if you have been reading lately you know that I am the worst for this. Not only do I take food encrusted pictures and videos of my baby, but I post them thinking that the readers of this blog will enjoy seeing them as I do, blueberry encrusted, topless(seriously I dress her everyday, I promise!), and all.

If I was Wearing A Hat

In a previous post I mentioned that if I was wearing a hat it would like this
I am still not wearing a hat and neither is the Little even after countless attempts to try to get her to look cute peeking out from under the brim

June 6th

On June 6th, our little town will be hosting a Strawberry Faire and guess who has a booth?
Me! Oh goodness!
Remember this post, well this is my first step, in trying to do more, on getting out of my comfort zone of just being happy being Kevin's wife and Libby's mom.
I'm selling BeadsForLife, which you can read about on their website. It is a awesome humanitarian company that is devoted to eradicating poverty in Uganda. I'm not really a humanitairian, but I love people, and while I'm not saying I'll never visit Africa, this is my way of showing these people that I love them, even though I may never know them.
I'm also selling Aprons For Africa, which is my bestest's mom's little business which supports Children's Hope Chest.
I'm also going to advertise out little church, which although it is small, I've never been in a more community/relational driven church. It really feel like a "church family," as churchy as that sounds. It's a great church, so if you're from Richmond and you need friends that will love you and meet you where you are, come this Sunday and see us! :)
This verse has spoken to me since I was pregnant with the Little, and has come back to me again, again, and again, since having her and I feel like God is using these words to drive me...I want her to know that life isn't just about us!
Galatians 5 :13
"For you have been called to live in freedom...don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead use you freedom to serve one another in LOVE"

Here are the beads, they are beautiful, and so fun to wear! If you can't come to the SF in our little town, but you would like to buy some let me know and I'll get them to you...they are very reasonably priced!
