100 or More

Because today marks a 1/4 of my little's 1st year of life I decided to document it with a photo or two(imagine that). Our photo shoot took us to our screen porch since God blessed us with a spring like day in December. She cooperated so well as I shot, that I got a little carried away and took at least 100 or more.
I love her so!

Here are Libby's 3 month stats:
Weight-just over 12 lbs
Height- 24 in...that's 2 ft folks almost as tall as me
Eating- like a champ
Sleeping- we can't complain
Hugs- gives freely without resisting
Kisses- they get given by Mommy and Daddy an inexcusable amount
Hearts Stolen-2 that I know of, mine and Mr. Jones...It's the beautiful pain of having a child. It's something that before she came we didn't know existed, but now couldn't live with out.
Our sweet Libby Rose!

You will find this same shot in color at the top of this post, and in sepia and b&w here, I could not choose what I liked the best so you get all three!

Unagi...Ahhh Salmon Skin Roll

Thank you Mrs.Albee for this culinary experience in fashion, and thank you Mrs. Gillian for delivering!
Look at her finger raised. "Excuse me waiter, I'd like some more shashimi"

"Oh no, I ate too much"

The Remote Control

I don't feel well this week.
I have so much to say, yet little motivation to write about it.
Libby is crying,
Kevin is away,
I have spit-ups covering my left arm,
and I took the remote control with me to Walmart?

On the other hand I did snap these cute pics of my little, which indecently can always make me feel better.

I Love GiveAways!

This Christmas season has been so great for free giveaways.
The Pleated Poppy is a crafty little blogger with the most adorable stuff. She is giving away a set of her posy pins and I think that adding them to a sweater, or for my FL friends a tank top, would take a ordinary frock into a one of a kind, everybody wants one outfit! Check out her shop here.

The Sleeping Little

For those who love her but can not see her! We love you.

Fitted Sheets

I finally did it. I changed my boring, black background to this fancy, smanshy (sman-shee), frilly, red, and green number. I've been reluctant to do this, but after visiting some really cool blogs today I decided mine was boring and in need of a makeover. Now bear in mind that most of theirs were cool due to content, not decorative backgrounds, but I don't have much cool content to share. I am mildly amusing though and quite often make myself laugh, and sometimes my sweetie, and sometimes my sister.
Oh and sometimes Laura, but that might be it, b/c I think that most people just come here for the pictures of Libby Rose.
Which leads me to my next idea, that I might change my title to "Pictures Are Better Than Words," b/c who am I fooling, there is no art on this blog. I have ideas for some new art, but no time to make it, when feeding, changing, and playing with Libby is what makes up my day. I don't know where the time goes. I feel like we wake up and all of a sudden it is time to pick Daddy up from work(he rides his bike in the morning, but most of the time he is tired at the end of the day and it is cold and growing dark by 4:30 here.)
So in conclusion as I wrap up this wordy, rambling (since the wee one is done nursing and now I must put the lap top down and fold more laundry) does anyone really know how to fold fitted sheets? Every time I fold them I do it differently, and let's be honest every time I fold them it looks like I rolled them up into a crumpled mess anyway.
Grace and Peace, CJ

Chef Libby

Really this is the sweetest little Christmas outfit from Babette, but every time I look at these pictures I think, gourmet chef.
Oh bother, what wont I do for a photo op of my little Libby girl? These pictures are at a Christmas garden center in MD and yes I was standing in the background with Babette making a fool of myself trying to get her to smile!
Have you ever tried to get a 2 month old baby to smile? It's labor intensive work, with sometimes little profit, but when the silly voices, jumping up and down, and dancing in the isles of Christmas decor pays off, it's totally worth it!
